We offer a professional and highly competent service aimed at obtaining CE conformity certification (Directive 2000/14/EC), through our in-house staff with over twenty years of experience in noise testing and qualified as a TCA (Technical Competent Authority).
AP Engineering operates as a Notified European Body for the issuance of Type CE Certification according to Annex VI and Annex VII of Directive 2000/14/EC, carrying out all tests directly in its own accredited in-house laboratory.
As AP’s tests are conducted under international accreditation, they may also be used for exports to non-EU countries where such documentation is recognized as mandatory.
AP Engineering is qualified to perform tests and certification for all types of machinery falling under the categories defined in Article 12 of Directive 2000/14/EC, as well as accredited testing for machinery falling under Article 13 of the same Directive.
As a Notified Body, we adopt a structured and highly professional approach consisting of the following phases:
- Preliminary analysis, including specialized technical inspections where necessary, to define the correct measurement methodology;
- Evaluation by experts of the machine’s certification documentation in accordance with the Directive’s requirements;
- Testing activities as defined by the Directive;
- Qualification of the test site, allowing the manufacturer to perform periodic tests independently;
- Issuance of the Certificate, upon successful completion of all required verifications.
