The inspection activities as per Annex V of Legislative Decree no. 81/08 are purely related to pre-CE machines, i.e. machines put into service before 1996, and are carried out at the site of use in order to verify compliance with the minimum safety requirements that Annex V of the Safety Consolidation Act, Italian Legislative Decree no. 81/08 establishes for machines put on the market before the advent of the EC directive for the CE marking of machines.
AP Engineering carries out an inspection to check that the safety conditions are maintained, with the issue of a specific technical report clearly stating whether the machine complies with the minimum requirements or any non-conformities that have come to light and the relevant recommendations for their resolution.
These activities play a fundamental role in occupational safety and protection of the Employer, the Prevention and Protection Service Manager and safety officers. Too often we see machines in operation that then turn out not to comply with one or more of the minimum requirements set out in Annex V.

- Analysis of the machine park to identify pre-CE machines.
- On-site inspection of machinery to verify the minimum safety aspects set out in Annex V of Italian Legislative Decree no. 81/08.
- Drafting of a technical analysis report.
- Meetings with any suppliers who will be commissioned by the client for compliance in the event of non-conformity.
