Certifications

Product certification is a process through which an independent certification body, separate from the manufacturer, verifies that a product meets the safety, quality, performance, or other requirements established by a standard, technical specification, or another document.

Product certification can be voluntary or mandatory. Voluntary certification is carried out by the manufacturer on a voluntary basis to demonstrate that their product meets certain requirements. Mandatory certification is imposed by law or regulation and must be carried out by all manufacturers who want to introduce their product to the market.

The advantages of product certification are numerous:

  • Ensure the safety and quality of products for consumers.
  • Increase consumer confidence in certified products.
  • Improve the corporate image of the manufacturer.
  • Facilitate access to international markets.

Product certification is an important process and must be carried out by competent bodies such as AP Engineering.
